As a church grows bigger, it must also grow smaller—helping people to find community with others around Jesus Christ and His Word. We have different kinds of groups to meet your needs. We invite “you” to become involved.

Care Group Ministry
What is a Care Group?
Care groups meet each week to study and find life applications of God’s word; to encourage, support, and build each other up; and to pray for one another. These groups meet at different times and places and consist of all different age groups. Each group is unique because of the interest and mix of people that attend.
A care group consists of fifteen people or less meeting together to foster spiritual development by the use of God’s Word, the experience of community, and by prayer.
What is the purpose of a Care Group?
The purpose of a care group is to connect people relationally for the purpose of growing in Christlikeness, loving one another, and contributing to the work of the church, in order to glorify God and make disciples of all the nations.
Accountability Groups
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up, but pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!“ Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Everyone is encouraged to have an accountability group, or partner. This person should be a growing Christian who is able to challenge you (Proverbs 27:17; 13:20). This should also be a person who you can be open and honest with.
Why should I be accountable to someone?
Scriptural teaching
Christians are to submit to one another. (Ephesians 5:21)
Christians are to bear each other’s burdens. (Galatians 6:2)
It protects me from Satan and helps build purity of life. (2 Tim 2:22)
Because I will have to give an account of my entire life to God. (Romans 14:12) Therefore I want to use every means possible to live a Godly life.
What do I do with my accountability partner?
Establish goals.
Share: strengths and weaknesses, quiet time insights, answers to prayer, Scripture memory verses, note-taking insights.
Confess to one another and pray for each other consistently. (James 15:16, Matthew 18:19)
Encourage and challenge each other. (Heb. 3:13, Rom 15:14)
Check up on each other. (Acts 15:36)
